- In a crockpot, combine the red wine, brandy, and honey or sugar.
- Add the sliced orange and lemon, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and vanilla extract.
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover and heat on low for 2-3 hours, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Once heated, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.
- Serve warm in mugs, garnished with additional fruit or spices if desired.
Notes
Crockpot Mulled Wine is best served warm. This drink is great for holiday parties and can be enjoyed by the fireplace or at family gatherings. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
