Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Use boneless for easier shredding later!
  • 1 can green beans, drained Fresh green beans work too; just chop them and add a few minutes to your cook time.
  • 1 package stuffing mix Choose your favorite flavor! Herb-seasoned adds a nice depth, while cornbread brings a sweet touch.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Homemade broth adds a richer flavor, but store-bought is perfectly fine for a quick option.
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used; just increase the measurement slightly for that extra punch!
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder If you love onions, add some sautéed fresh chopped onions for extra sweetness.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Start with a little salt and pepper; you can always add more at the end!

Method

Preparation
  1. Gently place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour your drained green beans over the seasoned chicken.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the stuffing mix with the chicken broth until it’s all nicely moistened. Spread it generously atop the green beans.
Cooking
  1. Cover your crockpot and choose low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, serve it warm.

Notes

Pro Tips for Success: Don’t overcrowd the crockpot; it needs some airflow. Let it rest after cooking for better texture. If using frozen chicken, it may need a bit more time to cook through.
