- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.

- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.

- Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, and garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
If you have leftovers, let the chicken cool, then store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. When ready to eat, thaw overnight and reheat.
