  • 2 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Season the pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the seasoned tenderloin on top of the onions in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce and chicken broth over the pork.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  2. Once done, shred the pork with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve on soft buns or with sides of your choice such as coleslaw, potato salad, or corn on the cob.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork with spices the night before. You can also use beef or chicken instead of pork. Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
