Preparation
  1. Wash the apples thoroughly to remove any wax. Core and slice them into thin, fry-like strips.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apple strips with lemon juice, cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Toss gently until every slice is coated.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over your apple mixture, giving it a light toss again.
Cooking
  1. Lay the apple strips evenly in the air fryer basket. Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  2. Keep an eye on your apple fries during the last few minutes to make sure they don’t overcook.

Notes

Enjoy warm, drizzled with caramel or served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store sliced apples with lemon juice in the refrigerator for up to a few hours before cooking.
