Preparation
- In a gallon-sized plastic bag, combine the flour, kosher salt, and black pepper. Shake to mix.
- Add the pork chops to the bag and shake to coat. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and water. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix crushed crackers, Parmesan, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
- Dip the pork chops in the egg mixture, then coat them in the cracker mixture, patting to ensure adhesion.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Place the pork chops in the basket. Spray the tops with olive oil.
- Cook at 400°F for 8 minutes, flipping halfway and spraying again.
- Ensure the pork chops reach an internal temperature of at least 155°F (68°C).
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of crushed crackers. Make sure to evenly coat the pork chops for a uniform crispy texture. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary for the best results.
