Preparation
- Scrub potatoes clean and slice them into wedges that are about 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick.
- Soak the potato wedges in ice water for at least 1 hour. You can also refrigerate them for up to 24 hours.
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F for 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Dry the potatoes thoroughly and toss them with oil, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Put the potatoes in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. After that, toss them and cook for another 10-12 minutes until they are crispy.
- Let them cool briefly before serving. You can add extra seasoning if desired.
Notes
Make sure to soak the potatoes to remove excess starch for extra crispiness. Dry the potatoes well after soaking and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best results. Leftover fries can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
