  • 1 lb ground chicken Use fresh ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Regular or gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped Finely chopped for better mixing
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder in the mixture
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped For flavor
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor
  • 1 tsp salt To taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, and parsley until well combined. Avoid overmixing.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the mixture into small patties about half an inch thick.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the rissoles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure that the ground chicken is well combined with the other ingredients for a better texture. Spray the rissoles with olive oil spray before cooking to promote a crispier surface. Keep the patties uniform in size for even cooking. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; if necessary, cook in batches.
