- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Whisk to combine.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until blended.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a spoon, drop the batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between fritters.
- Give the fritters a light spray or brush with oil.
Cooking
- Air fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the fritters and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Choose a mix of tart and sweet apples for best flavor. These fritters can be stored in the fridge for 2 days or frozen for up to a month. To reheat, use an air fryer for best texture.
