  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix Add a dash more if you’re a ranch enthusiast.
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese Make sure it’s softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup You can substitute with cream of mushroom for a twist.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Vegetable broth can be used as a substitute.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Taste as you go for the best outcome.
For Serving
  • as needed Pasta or Rice Your choice of base to soak up all that amazing sauce.
  • to taste Chopped Parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine everything.
Serving
  1. Serve over your choice of pasta or rice and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

You can prep the chicken and sauce the night before. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This dish can be frozen; just remember to thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating. You can also add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
