  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Bone-in, skin-on thighs recommended for flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred for better flavor.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated Parmesan is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust based on preference.
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional) Such as parsley or thyme.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Place the chicken thighs back into the skillet with the sauce.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

Allow chicken to cool completely before storing. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
