Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a pie dish with butter using a paper towel or your fingers.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the pie crust, overlapping them slightly.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, ensuring they are fully covered.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the pie.
Baking
