  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Helps to achieve that perfect crisp.
  • 1 tbsp Sage, fresh Adds an earthy aroma; feel free to use fresh if you can find it!
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Enhances all the flavors.

Preparation
  1. Start by trimming the ends off the Brussels sprouts, then slice them in half.
Mixing the Glaze
  1. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with the glaze until they’re well-coated.
  2. Add the fresh cranberries, and sprinkle in torn sage leaves.
Roasting
  1. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in an even layer.
  2. Roast in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 30 minutes, or until the sprouts are golden brown.
Serving
  1. Once roasted to perfection, drizzle a bit more maple syrup if desired, and serve them warm.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan for equal roasting. Experiment with spices such as nutmeg or cinnamon. Use high-quality maple syrup for the best flavor.
