Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and lift off the top section. Place the bottom section in the baking pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk the cranberry sauce and Dijon mustard together. Spread half of this mixture on the rolls.
- Layer with 5 slices of Swiss cheese, followed by a generous amount of ham, and then top with the remaining cheese.
- Spread the rest of the cranberry mustard mixture on top of the ham and cheese.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Combine the melted butter with minced onion, poppy seeds, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the top of the rolls.
- Place the top section of the rolls back on and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
These sliders can be served warm and are great for parties. Best stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and eaten within 2 to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the oven at a low temperature until warmed through.
