Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure it's softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • optional chopped pecans or orange zest for topping For added flavor and texture.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half to create smaller triangles.
  4. Press each triangle into the muffin cups of the prepared tin, forming a small cup.
  5. Spoon in about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  6. If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest over the cranberry sauce for added flavor and texture.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 11 to 13 minutes, or until the crescent dough turns golden brown.
  2. Allow the bites to cool slightly in the tin before serving.

Notes

These bites are best served warm or at room temperature. Arrange them on a cute plate for a festive presentation. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
