Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half to create smaller triangles.
- Press each triangle into the muffin cups of the prepared tin, forming a small cup.
- Spoon in about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest over the cranberry sauce for added flavor and texture.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 11 to 13 minutes, or until the crescent dough turns golden brown.
- Allow the bites to cool slightly in the tin before serving.
Notes
These bites are best served warm or at room temperature. Arrange them on a cute plate for a festive presentation. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
