Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure your cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce A little drizzle of extra cranberry sauce over the top can add a nice touch.
For the base
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count) Unroll the dough and cut each triangle in half for smaller shells.
Optional toppings
  • chopped pecans or orange zest Experiment with different toppings like walnuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half, creating smaller triangles.
  4. Press each triangle into the muffin cups to form a small shell.
Filling
  1. Spoon in about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each shell, then add 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  2. If you like, sprinkle some chopped pecans or orange zest on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 11–13 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bites are best served warm and can be enjoyed as an appetizer or a dessert. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature to restore texture.
