  • 1 sheet Buttery puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 8 oz Brie cheese Cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 large Egg wash Optional for glazing
  • to taste Fresh herbs Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a small piece of Brie cheese in the center of each square.
  4. Top the cheese with a dollop of cranberry sauce.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash if using.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, roll out the puff pastry thinly. Use high-quality Brie for a richer flavor. Experiment with different jams for a tasty twist. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
