  • 1 leaf lettuce Classic topping for freshness.
  • 1 slice tomato Classic topping for freshness.
  • to taste mustard Classic topping.
  • to taste mayo Classic topping.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined, but don't overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 hamburger patties, aiming for consistent size and thickness, and press a small dimple in the center of each.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. Grill the patties to your desired doneness, using a meat thermometer to check.
  2. Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after cooking to allow juices to redistribute.
Assembly
  1. Place burgers on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo. Toast buns for extra crunch.

Notes

Feel free to prep the meat mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the patties before cooking.
