Crumble Topping

cold and cubed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
In a bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Spread evenly in the baking dish.
In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 10–15 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or as desired.
Notes
Mix in berries or nuts for variation. Crumble topping can be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge.
