  • 6 large large eggs, scrambled
  • 8 ounces ground pork sausage, cooked
  • 1 cup thick cut bacon, cooked, crumbled Approximately 6 slices
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package King's Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 1 recipe cowboy butter, melted, divided

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly spray a 7 x 11 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Split the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. Evenly pour about 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Top with an even layer of scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the cheese and brush the tops with 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve the sliders with the remaining cowboy butter for dipping.

Notes

Serve warm right out of the oven. They pair well with fresh fruit or a side of hash browns. For a festive touch, add some spicy salsa or hot sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Feel free to mix in some veggies like bell peppers or onions for added taste and nutrition.
