Preparation
- Prepare all ingredients for the salad.
- Dice the bell peppers and onion into small pieces.
- Grate the cheese using the larger side of the grater.
- Break the Fritos into smaller pieces, keeping them the size you like best.
- If you plan to serve the salad later, keep the ingredients separate and do not mix them yet.
- Add the mayonnaise right before you serve the salad.
- Toss everything together and serve right away.
Notes
Best served chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container, keeping Fritos separate until serving to maintain their crunch.
