Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set out melted candy melts, sprinkles, and optional toppings.
- Melt candy melts in microwave-safe bowls in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add vegetable oil if needed to thin.
- Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted candy, letting the excess drip off. Quickly decorate with sprinkles and toppings before the coating sets.
- Place decorated rods on parchment paper to cool. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes if needed to help set the coating.
Notes
Use a tall glass to dip rods for an even coating. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 10 days. Avoid freezing to prevent candy coating from cracking.
