Preparation
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat.

Cooking
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, broth, water, broken lasagna noodles, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta cheese until well combined.
Serving
- Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh basil.

For a vegetarian variation, use plant-based sausage and vegetable broth. Customize by adding vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
