Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt and whisk together.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill a cookie press with the dough and press onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Gently press a Spring-colored M&M into the center of each cookie.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze cookies in a single layer for up to three months.
