Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Kofta
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 onion grated onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic for the kofta
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • Wooden skewers if grilling
For the Creamy Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves minced garlic for the sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • to taste salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into oval shapes or mold onto skewers.
Cooking
  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat and cook kofta until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Making the Sauce
  1. For the sauce, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in another bowl.
Serving
  1. Serve the kofta with the creamy garlic yogurt sauce on the side.

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the chicken mixture to keep the kofta tender. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Adjust the seasoning to your taste, adding more spices or garlic if you like a stronger flavor.
