  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli) Use fresh vegetables for the best taste.
  • 3 pieces green onions, chopped For garnishing.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust based on flavor preference.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Adjust based on flavor preference.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add chicken slices and cook until no longer pink.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Add the cooked chow mein noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce; toss everything together.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor and presentation, garnish with extra green onions or sesame seeds. This dish goes well with a side of spring rolls or steamed dumplings.
