Preparation
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- In a bowl, toss the chopped romaine with Caesar dressing until well-coated.
Assembly
- Layer the sliced chicken breast on one slice of toasted bread.
- Add the dressed romaine lettuce on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the second slice of bread, press down gently, slice in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
