Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the chopped romaine with Caesar dressing until well-coated.
Assembly
  1. Layer the sliced chicken breast on one slice of toasted bread.
  2. Add the dressed romaine lettuce on top of the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, press down gently, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes
