Ingredients
  

Calzone Dough

  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade

Filling

  • 1.5 cups cooked shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works well
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce homemade or high-quality jarred
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough into 6–8 inch circles.
  • In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  • Spoon filling onto one half of each dough circle. Fold over and crimp the edges to seal. Optional: cut a small slit on top for steam to escape.
  • Brush each calzone with egg wash. Place in air fryer basket (in batches if needed) and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Don’t overfill the calzones to avoid leaks. Use parchment or spray to prevent sticking. Add veggies or spice for variation. Can be made ahead and frozen for up to 2 months.
