  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened Leave out of the fridge for about 30 minutes before starting.
  • 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1 container 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Blend until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the cherry pie filling, leaving some swirls for a pretty marbled effect if desired.
  5. Fold in the mini marshmallows and nuts (if using).
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors blend and fluff set.

Notes

Can be served in individual cups or in a large bowl. Top with extra cherry pie filling or nuts.
