Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Squeeze all of the juices out of the grated zucchini to help make the breadsticks crispy.
- In a bowl, combine grated zucchini, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, and garlic salt. Stir until everything is mixed well.
- On a lined baking dish, spread the zucchini mixture in a thin layer, about half an inch thick.
Cooking
- Bake the zucchini mixture in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take it out and add your choice of cheese on top.
- Bake for an additional 2-5 minutes until the cheese melts and gets a golden brown color.
- Once done, slice the breadsticks and serve them hot.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
