Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and trim the asparagus, removing the tough ends.
  3. Place the spears on a baking sheet, ensuring they are all roughly the same length for even cooking.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
Cooking
  1. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
  2. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until tender and the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  4. Serve warm, with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Notes

For added crunch, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top before baking. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
