Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts Boneless for simplicity.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Sharp cheddar or pepper jack recommended.
  • 1 cup Lettuce, Chopped Mix greens for variety if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Tomatoes, Diced Cherry tomatoes can be used for sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing Homemade or store-bought.
  • 4 large Tortillas Flour or corn based on preference.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Use to elevate flavors.

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil and cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. Once the chicken is cool enough, shred it using two forks into tender pieces.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and ranch dressing. Toss everything together until well coated.
Preparing Tortillas
  1. Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface, ready to be filled.
Assembling the Wraps
  1. Evenly distribute the chicken mixture over the tortillas and roll them tightly, tucking in the sides.
Serving
  1. Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately, optionally adding extra cherry tomatoes on the side.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken before cooking, and grilling the wraps for a crispy exterior after assembling. You can load up with additional veggies or switch the dressing for a different flavor profile.
