Method
- Lay out the sourdough slices. Spread butter or mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
- Layer cheddar, turkey, bacon, and another layer of cheddar on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Top with the second slice, buttered side facing out. Press gently.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Toast the sandwich 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melty.
- Slice in half and serve warm with chips, salad, or soup.
