- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced sausage. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Incorporate the chopped bell peppers into the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, followed by Cajun seasoning. Stir well and allow to bubble gently for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss for 1-2 minutes to ensure it's well-coated.
Notes
Serve warm, garnished with parsley or Parmesan cheese. Pairs well with a crisp side salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
