Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, coating them generously, then sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Massage the seasoning into the chicken.
Grilling
- Place the seasoned chicken on the hot grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- You’ll know it’s done when the juices run clear and you see those beautiful grill marks.
Making the Sauce
- While the chicken is grilling, mix together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk until creamy.
Serving
- Once the chicken is grilled to perfection, serve it hot with a generous amount of Alabama white sauce on top.
Notes
Let the chicken marinate with the Cajun seasoning for a few hours or even overnight for an extra flavor boost. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken has reached 165°F. This dish is also great with seasonal veggies on the grill.
