  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice For a fresher taste, use juice from a lemon.
  • 6 dashes hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco) Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk or stir together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and hot sauce until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Add in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, red pepper flakes, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  4. Serve your Cajun Aioli with your favorite dishes!

Notes

Cajun Aioli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Adjust spices to taste for a milder version. Consider making it a day ahead for richer flavor.
