Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
- Wash and cut the potatoes into chip shapes, then pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the chips with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the prepared spice mix.
Baking Chips
- Spread the potato chips evenly on a baking tray and place them in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes or in an air fryer for about 20 minutes.
- Cook until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
Cooking Beef
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- Add the lean beef mince, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned (about 5 to 7 minutes).
- Sprinkle in the remaining spice mix and continue cooking until well-seasoned.
Making Burger Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice. Add half a teaspoon each of garlic powder and smoked paprika.
- Mix well and adjust seasoning if needed.
Assembly
- Divide crispy fries among serving bowls.
- Add shredded lettuce, cooked beef mince, a sprinkle of cheese, and pickle slices.
- Drizzle burger sauce over the top and serve warm.
