Ingredients
  

For the dip
  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin) Soft cheese spread
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped Use fresh and ripe tomatoes for best flavor
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped Fresh basil enhances the flavor
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction Drizzle sparingly for best taste
Dippers
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette Choose any for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving about a 1/4 inch around the edge.
  2. Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layer.
  3. Add the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate.
Serving
  1. Serve alongside pita chips, crackers, or thin slices of baguette for dipping.

Notes

Best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Keep cheese separate from tomatoes and basil for freshness. Consume within 2-3 days for best flavor and texture.
