Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place your spiral-cut ham in a roasting pan with the cut side facing down.
- Generously brush the glaze all over the ham.
Cooking
- Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 1.5 hours, basting occasionally with the leftover glaze.
- For the last 30 minutes, remove the foil to let the glaze caramelize.
Serving
- Let the ham rest for a while before slicing.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). Save the glaze for basting! Broiling the ham for a few minutes after baking can add texture.
