- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, bacon bits, red onion, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and cheddar cheese.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli salad mixture and toss well to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
Serve cold. It makes a great side dish or light lunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
