Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl using a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt until well combined.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
- Stir in the flour until just combined; do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
