  • 4 large large croissants
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
Batter Ingredients
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Spread the broken croissant pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Place all the berries evenly over the croissants.
Batter Mixing
  1. Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  2. Gradually add the sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
Baking
  1. Pour this mixture all over the croissants and berries.
  2. Cover the dish and place it in the fridge for 15 minutes or up to 14 hours.
  3. Remove the cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.

Notes

Enjoy warm with powdered sugar or syrup. Pairs well with coffee or tea. For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon or nutmeg to the mixture. You can also use other types of bread like brioche or challah if desired.
