Main ingredients
  • 4 large large croissants Use day-old croissants for better texture.
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries Fresh strawberries, sliced.
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 block cream cheese, softened Eight ounces, softened for easier mixing.
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk Use alternative milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Cut the croissants into pieces and spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Distribute all the berries evenly over the broken croissants.
Mixing custard
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  2. Gradually add the sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the creamy mixture over the croissants and berries in the baking dish.
  2. Cover the dish and place it in the fridge for at least 15 minutes or up to 14 hours.
  3. When ready to bake, remove the cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.

Notes

Serve warm, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with syrup. Pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
