- Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce and a pinch of pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce: Mix oyster sauce, cornstarch slurry, and a bit of water in a separate bowl. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add onions and bell peppers. Cook until they begin to soften.
- Increase the heat to high and add the marinated beef. Stir-fry until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Add tomato wedges and cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Pour in the prepared sauce, stirring continuously until it thickens and evenly coats the beef and vegetables.
- Remove from heat and serve over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame oil or a sprinkle of chili flakes. Serve with jasmine rice for an authentic experience.
