Ingredients
  

Pizza Ingredients
  • 1 each Pizza dough Can use pre-made for convenience
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken breast Shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand or homemade
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 each Red onion Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro Chopped, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing the crust

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until you achieve your preferred thickness, usually around ¼-inch.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet and brush the edges with olive oil.
  4. Shred or chop the cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and toss with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce in a bowl.
Assembly
  1. Layer the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  2. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  3. Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and sliced red onions evenly over the cheese.
  4. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh cilantro over the hot pizza for an extra burst of flavor before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
