- In a bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, rolled oats, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, and salt until well combined (about 1-2 minutes).
- If using nuts or chocolate chips, gently fold them into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly, ensuring the corners are filled.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are set and lightly golden brown (look for a firm, slightly springy texture).
- Allow the bars to cool for a few minutes before cutting them into squares and enjoying.
Notes
These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Wrap individual bars in plastic wrap and freeze for up to 3 months.
