  • 1 package little smokies sausages
  • 1 pound bacon Cut into thirds
Flavoring
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar For sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the bacon strips into thirds.
  3. Wrap each little smokie with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  4. Place the wrapped sausages in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly over the bacon-wrapped sausages.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve warm as an appetizer, preferably on a platter with dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add spices like cayenne pepper or paprika to the brown sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. Turkey bacon can be used as a lighter alternative.
