Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 piece pie crust Use store-bought or homemade
  • 6 large eggs Use room temperature for fluffiness
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different cheeses
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon Pre-cooked to reduce grease
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, making sure it covers the sides well. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling during baking.
Mixing

  2. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Baking
  1. Pour the egg-bacon-cheese mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  3. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes
