Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares, roughly 4×4 inches.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each square of puff pastry.
- Add 2-3 asparagus spears on top of the cheese mixture.
- Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the asparagus and cheese, sealing the edges well.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Place the bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, straight from the oven.
Notes
These bundles can be made ahead of time; simply assemble and refrigerate until ready to bake. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
