Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grab a cozy pan and heat it over medium heat.
  2. Add your chopped apples and maple syrup to the pan and sauté until golden brown and soft, sprinkling a dash of water if needed.
  3. Allow the sautéed apples to cool while gathering the rest of the ingredients.
Blending
  1. In your blender, combine all the ingredients except for about 2 tablespoons of the sautéed apples.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding ice for extra chill if desired.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and decorate with your choice of toppings.

Notes
